Salary: Up to £48,200 per annum (Base £33,000 – £38,200 DOE + £10,000 Market Supplement)
Hours/Contract: 37 hours per week | Permanent – Full Time
To deliver high-quality practical and theoretical training across Electrical Installation programmes, equipping learners with industry-standard skills in a safe, productive workshop environment.
Teaching & Delivery: Deliver engaging vocational lessons up to Level 3, supporting student progression and real-world skill development.
Curriculum Planning: Design lesson plans, schemes of work, and differentiated learning materials that meet awarding body requirements.
Assessment & Support: Monitor student attendance and progress; provide timely feedback and implement interventions to maximize success.
Workshop & Safety: Maintain a safe, well-organized learning environment, enforcing industry-standard health and safety compliance.
Collaboration & Compliance: Contribute to departmental goals and actively uphold institutional policies regarding Safeguarding, EDI, and CPD.
Essential: Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations (or equivalent).
Essential: Level 2 English and Mathematics.
Essential: Current, robust technical expertise and industry experience.
Desirable: Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or willingness to work towards one; assessor/verifier awards.
Strong communication skills to teach and engage diverse learner groups.
Excellent organization to balance delivery with administrative progress tracking.
Commitment to a Student-Centred approach, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
